The image is an official US Navy photo. The quote comes from one of our founding fathers, Benjamin Franklin. The text is set in Elsner+Flake's ArtemisiaEF.

The image is another US Navy photo (it's a great shot of one of my hubby's favorite planes -- F18). The quote is from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. It's set in Emigre's TriplexCondRegular.

The image is an official US Navy photo. The quote is a very famous one from another Democratic president, John F. Kennedy. It's set in The Font Bureau's Berlinsans.

The image started out as a very rough, black and white GIF. I cleaned it up, added some color and dimension. The quote comes from Thomas Paine. It's set in T-26's Baker Script. Be forewarned -- this face requires some serious hand kerning. The small bio section at the bottom is set in Ophelia by Philip Bouwsma.

The image is a stock flag photo. The quote comes from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The text uses a combination of Red Rooster's Byron Medium and Swash.

The image is a composite of two photos from stock.exchng. The quote comes from Frederick Douglass. It's set in Adobe's Voluta Script family (regular, alternates, and swash). I played with all them -- perhaps too much -- but that was the fun part!

The image is a home-grown montage. It's been so long since I made this one, I forgot which fonts I used!

The image is a stock flag photo; the text is mine. It's just one way for me to deal with what may be coming in the war on Iraq. The words are set in URW's LeGriffeEF.

Here's another stock photo. Thomas Jefferson's famous words are set in OldGlory by Ethan Dunham, Fonthead Design.

The image is an official US Navy photo. The George Bush quote is set in URW's CorinthianTMed.

The image is a stock flag photo. I wrote this poem when I was a junior in high school. It's set in Adobe's Balzano.

The first of two tributes in the aftermath of 9/11. This started with a stock photo, but I removed the World Trade Center, then replaced them with a ghostly version. I don't recall the typeface used.

The second of two tributes in the aftermath of 9/11. Also a stock photo, but with the World Trade Center replaced with a ghostly version. I don't recall the typeface used.
