Back Story:
My husband, the Linux geek, has been calling me a font geek for a long time. After I discovered the alt.binaries.fonts newsgroup and he caught me in a full-blown fontgasm, he said I was "font geeking." When I heard that, a particular tune from my youth immediately came to mind; Deep Purple's "Space Trucking." And that was the impetus for this little ditty.

Perhaps I should have put this on the Font Art page, but since it's more about the song, I've placed it here. The image uses Shy Fonts SF Electrotome. The background graphics are a combination of a bunch of space-themed images gathered from a wide range of clip art sources, with a few made from scratch in Photoshop.
